Great to be Back in Villages

We did our work from Leon this morning and left from the office a little after 12:00. We had a full truck with 2 men from my house joining us for the day along with Roger. Mike Saeli is an agricultural engineer from New York that is here with his wife working with Food for the Hungry. He and Roger are the main speakers in the meeting today that Scarleth will be hosting.

Our other guest is Mike Coberly from Washington state who is in Nicaragua working with NicaMade. He is involved with Rotary in Leon and is getting some pictures and seeing the things we are doing after Scarleth and Larry shared some of our needs at last weeks rotary meeting.

As soon as we got there, the boys were ready for baseball after a full week off. Leo got them started and Roger and the Mikes looked around the garden and clinic. Scarleth and I got things setup for the meeting and it started a little after 2:00.

I spent time visiting some families and youth members by bicycle in Candelaria and let them know that we would have our youth meeting this coming Friday at 6:00. Many of the kids thought it had been canceled from now on, after having to skip it 2 weeks due to traffic strike. All of them were excited that we will continue it this weekend.
