Candelaria, Santa Matilde, Chinadega

Pastor Pedro drove Scarleth, Leo, and I out today for baseball practice, some visiting, and a meeting. Scarleth shared a story with the baseball boys and Leo and Pedro started their practice. Scarleth went to visit the Mendoza sisters to help them with their current living situation and check on needs, while Alfredo, Ariel, and I cleaned up the bodega.

We then went to visit in Santa Matilde and Scarleth had her meeting in Chinadega with a lady about the paperwork and other things required for the medical dental clinic. I enjoyed getting to visit with a few of the youth girls at Santa Matilde and some younger children. Rosa and Junieth enjoyed seeing some other kids to play with too.

We came back to Candelaria with some time still left in baseball practice. Pedro, Walter, and some of the other older guys started a game with the oldest kids from the team and enjoyed a few innings of competitive scrimmage. It was fun to see the older guys out there playing so serious.
