Larry Preaches Another Great Service

Marvin and Anthony came into Leon in the morning by bus to see if Brittany was feeling better. They hung out with us until we headed out in the afternoon for evening service.

Larry prached his sermon titled "One Bath, Many Footwashings" with scripture from John 13:3-15. He preached about how we do not need to be baptized over and over, and that after we become Christians we will still sin, but we do not have to be re-baptized. This message is very important here as so many people think that they earn God's love, or earn their way into heaven with good deeds. They feel like God loves them today because of all the non-worldly things they did, but tomorrow he won't love them if they have faults. Church attendance was very good, with probably around 100 total in attendance, 70 or so over 13 years old.

Brittany stayed with Itzel over night as she thinks her cough has passed, and wants to finish out her trip spending as much time as possible in the village.
